※ Principle
The magnetic field is formed from poles both ends of a probe. When magnetism body (ferrum) exists in the magnetic field, field strength changes. We investigate reinforcement with that principle.

※ Inquiry extent
Inquiry depth changes by diameter of reinforcement, it is max 85mm(φ9) 〜125mm(φ35). We cannot distinguish reinforcement from buried tube.

※ Consequence output
Roll chart paper.

※ The merits and demerits
When reinforcement overlaps in inquiry depth orientation, overlap number does not become clear. An inquiry of horizontal position is superior in precision to radar.

※ Principle
We emit one kind of X-radiation of radioactive rays with X-ray emission device, and expose film.

※ Inquiry extent
Inquiry extent is concrete of about 250mm thickness when we used general film (medical application). We can film it to 700mm thickness when we used special film and intensifying screen and equipment.

※ Consequence output
Film.

※ The merits and demerits
It is necessary to shelter when we film it. because, radiation is released. An area of photography extent of once is small. We can distinguish reinforcement from buried tube.

※ Principle
We transmit an electromagnetic wave (electric wave) from radar antenna and receive the electric wave which reflected in reinforcement. By intensity and hour of the electric wave which received, we output pictorial image as if section was cut.

※ Inquiry extent
Inquiry depth changes by diameter, but it is max about 200mm. We cannot distinguish reinforcement from buried tube.

※ Consequence output
Collar printer output.

※ Merits and demerits
We can judge even situation which reinforcement overlaps in reinforcement depth direction. (elongatedness of reinforcement is more than 3 times of diameter) When moisture of a large quantity exists in concrete, we cannot investigate it. Precision of horizontal position is low when compares the radar inquiry with X rays or magnetic exploration.
